I stayed at the Radisson RED Miraflores during two separate visits to Lima. The first stay was part of a G Adventures trip to the Amazon. I returned to the property on my own because I enjoyed the first stay. Even the first impressions of the property from the street hint at a hotel that makes bold design choices.
Radisson RED aims for a modern, social vibe in the touristy Miraflores neighborhood. The neighborhood itself is active, walkable, and full of life, and the hotel fits naturally into that rhythm.
Location
Radisson RED Miraflores is located in the heart of Miraflores, one of Lima’s most traveler-friendly neighborhoods. From the hotel, it is easy to reach restaurants, cafes, shops, and parks on foot. The area feels safe, lively, and well-maintained, which makes it ideal for travelers who prefer to explore independently rather than rely on taxis for every outing.
Mairaflores is neither near the airport nor near the downtown. So if you are looking for a quick airport hotel stay, try the Wyndham Grand Costa Del Sol Lima instead. Getting to either downtown or the airport will take at least 45 minutes by Uber in Lima’s traffic.

Public Spaces
The public spaces at Radisson RED Miraflores lean into the brand’s playful, modern identity. The lobby feels more like a social lounge than a traditional hotel reception area. Seating clusters encourage conversation, and the design uses bold colors and contemporary furniture.
Check-in was efficient and friendly. English was spoken confidently by the front desk staff.
What I appreciated most was how usable the public spaces were. The lobby and common areas worked equally well for a quick coffee, a short work session, or meeting up with your tour group. My wife, who accompanied me on my second trip, thought the hotel vibe felt more like a hostel. She was not wrong.

Room Features
My rooms were well-designed and comfortable, with at least one of the 3 different rooms I had looking like they came straight out of a graphic novel.
Large windows brought in plenty of natural light, and higher-floor rooms offered views over Miraflores, reminding me just how active the neighborhood is. Sound insulation was effective, and once the door was closed, outside noise dropped away.

The room included reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable desk area. Climate control worked smoothly and quietly, which mattered given Lima’s coastal humidity. The bathroom was modern and well laid out, with good water pressure and thoughtful lighting.
Special Features
Radisson RED Miraflores distinguishes itself through its social energy and contemporary design. This is a hotel that encourages guests to use shared spaces rather than retreat entirely to their rooms. For travelers who enjoy a sense of community or casual interaction, that is a real strength.

Food and Dining
Dining is an integral part of the Radisson RED experience, and the Miraflores location delivers on that promise. The on-site restaurant and bar serve as social hubs, drawing both guests and locals. Signs in the elevator offered all-you-can-drink cocktails from 5 pm to 9 pm and cocktails and snacks on the weekend from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Breakfast offered a mix of international and local options, with good coffee and fresh ingredients. In addition to a decent buffet, you could also order an omelet. Service was friendly and efficient.
In the evenings, the bar area became a lively gathering space. There is also a rooftop bar and restaurant where I had an enjoyable dinner.

Facilities and Amenities
The rooftop fitness center is small but modern and well-equipped, suitable for maintaining a routine while traveling.
Things Nearby
Miraflores is one of Lima’s best neighborhoods for travelers, and staying here puts a wide range of experiences within easy reach.
Dining options are abundant. From casual cevicherías to upscale restaurants, the neighborhood supports every budget and appetite. It is easy to explore Lima’s food scene on foot from the hotel, with no need for extensive planning. Across the street is an art cafe, Helarte, and half a block away is the lively República del Pisco, where they make a mean Pisco Sour.
Who This Hotel Is For
Radisson RED Miraflores is a strong choice for travelers who appreciate modern design, social spaces, and a walkable neighborhood.
Travelers looking for luxury in the classic sense may find this hotel more casual, but those who value energy, comfort, and location will likely feel at home.
