If you’re flying through Paris and want convenience without sacrificing style, the INNSiDE by Meliá Paris Charles De Gaulle is a great option. Just ten minutes from the airport, this contemporary hotel makes airport travel easy. Located only three stops from the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre—ideal for event-goers—and a quick 30-minute RER train ride right into the heart of Paris.
Stylish Rooms with a View
Spacious and light-filled, the rooms at INNSiDE are fresh and modern. Some overlook the airport runways while remaining surprisingly quiet. This proximity to the airport is a perk for aviation enthusiasts. For families, the larger rooms are perfect, especially if you’re combining sightseeing with a visit to Disneyland Paris or Parc Asterix. Both parks are easily reachable by train from the nearby Rossy TGV station or within a short drive.

Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge (sitting at eye-level height—thank you, hotel management), a kettle, coffee sachets, and mugs. I’m disappointed the trend seems to be getting away from Nespresso machines, and instant coffee seems to be the norm. There is a large screen TV and a desk with charging outlets. The only quirky thing was that the bathroom sink is in the middle of the room with a large mirror.

There are a variety of room choices, from accessible queen to family loft rooms. The prices can be as low as $154 to $308/USD per night. The Loft for families has one king bed and two twin beds and is a sizeable 452 sq ft.

Amenities and Play Area

A 24-hour gym means you can adjust your workout schedule to fit your travel rhythm. The inviting lobby encourages you to enjoy a game of air hockey, ping-pong, or even an arcade game. The lobby is bright and has plenty of seating areas to relax and catch up on emails or scroll through your phone. Later on, the bar buzzes with energy in the evenings, with DJs adding a Parisian touch to the hotel’s laid-back atmosphere.

One notable mention is that the hotel is located on a ‘campus’ of hotels that are easily accessible via a short train shuttle. Don’t be misled by the website that states there is a shuttle service—there are no vans or shuttle buses getting you to the terminals. You have about a 10-minute walk to the train and then a few stops before getting off. Don’t look for shuttles if you stay in this area.
Last year, I stayed at a property directly across from this hotel and paid between 50 and 100 Euros more. So this is certainly a value for your money. There is no question that this campus of hotels is the best place to stay if you are flying out of Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is convenient, and if you book enough in advance, it is reasonable for a hotel room in one of the most popular destinations in the world. If you have a short time in Paris, you may want to consider a quick one-day Paris itinerary, which will give you a great tour of the City of Lights and all of its glory.
