Hilton Hotels Roll Out Specially Decorated Rooms for Christmas

Whatever your reason for travel this festive season, consider choosing a holiday suite at a Hilton hotel themed to fan-favorite “countdown to Christmas” movies on the Hallmark Channel. The specialty suites will deliver the signature hospitality for which the company’s flagship brand is known, while providing guests with cheery décor, holiday joy, and an immersive environment.

Holiday suite, Chicago Hilton, IlllinoisA warm and cozy experience awaits at Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, in a suite created with the Hallmark Channel, complete with a custom crochet Christmas tree and knit accent wall perfect for snapping a snuggly selfie. The comforting holiday abode, also features knit-wrapped presents, a hot cocoa bar, gingerbread decorating and yet another one-of-a-kind Christmas tree for guests to enjoy a personal tree lighting ceremony.

Not your style? What about the Home Alone 2 Stay Package – The Kevin/ In the 1992 classic “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”, the memorable and heartwarming scene where Kevin and his family are reunited on Christmas morning was shot in the Hilton Chicago’s Conrad Suite. In 2019, the hotel launched a limited-time “Home Alone 2” package allowing guests to live the lavish Kevin McCallister life with an exclusive themed experience in the original Conrad Suite featured in the movie. It’s not part of the Hallmark Collection promotion, but definitely Christmasy nonetheless.

The “Home Alone 2” package includes a whole cheese pizza from Herb ‘n Kitchen, made especially by the hotel’s Executive Chef (who is Pizza-aioli certified), a pool reservation for Cannon Ball Practice, accommodation in a suite, Paint Can for Sticky Bandit candy fill-ups at HNK, and an ADA-approved toothbrush.

For those who prefer a warmer climate over Chicago’s chilly North Pole vibe, Hilton San Diego Bayfront, 1 Park Boulevard, San Diego, California, offers a SoCal Christmas suite, featuring everything from surfboards to a beach umbrella to coastal-themed Christmas trees and even a snow cone machine – all accompanied by picturesque views of the San Diego Bay.

Suite guests can craft custom ornaments and decorate cookies shaped like surfboards while enjoying a jukebox playing holiday favorites. After a snow cone or two, head to the hotel’s heated bayfront pool for a winter swim or warm up by the waterfront fire pits at Hudson & Nash.

Guests can sip hot cocoa from chic mugs or savor a glass of wine while bedazzling ornaments during a Hallmark Channel movie marathon. The festivities can continue beyond the suite with a treatment at the resort’s expansive spa or a meal at any of its more than 40 food and beverage spots.

Every night at 8 p.m., guests in all three hotel suites can partake in a themed Christmas tree lighting. Each suite will also include a Hallmark Channel holiday movie collection of old favorites and new hits along with popcorn and movie snacks for a very merry binge-watching session.

Reservations for Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” Holiday Suites by Hilton are available now to book with stays running to December 26, 2022, at Hilton Chicago; to December 31, 2022, at Hilton Las Vegas at Resorts World; and to December 31, 2022, at Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

Rooms at the Hilton Chicago start about $180, or try Booking.com for a better rate. Rooms at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront start about $200 but you can compare rates over at Hotels.com or another booking site. Suite rates start about $700 at the Hilton Las Vegas at Resorts World, and note that there also is a daily resort charge added to the room rate.
