Locals in the know, visiting A-listers, and travelers who appreciate the finer things in life, ephemeral as well as tangible, will feel at home at the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas. One of Dallas’ premier luxury hotels, the iconic Neo-French classical hotel was designed by Pritzker-prize winning architect Phillip Johnson.
Located in Dallas’ hip Uptown neighborhood, a stay at the Crescent makes it easy to immerse yourself in local nightlife, restaurants, and culture, just minutes from the hotel. Many top venues are within walking distance, while the Dallas Arts District is just five minutes by car.
The Hotel Crescent Court experience begins in the lobby: with abundant natural light, limestone columns, gleaming marble floors, and larger than life floral arrangements, the hotel lobby, aka the Great Hall, is truly sublime. Always buzzing with activity no matter the time of day, it’s more than a place to check-in. Friends meet for drinks at Beau Nash, wedding guests gather, and professionals make that all important first impression—it all happens here. Everyone who is anyone in Dallas eventually makes their way to the Hotel Crescent Court Great Hall.

Food and drink at the Hotel Crescent Court
Hotel Crescent Court offers a number of excellent options when it comes to food and drink. Start your day at The Conservatory overlooking the hotel gardens. Serving breakfast classics with a twist, try the lobster frittata or avocado toast with poached egg. The Conservatory also serves lunch until 2:00 pm.
In the lobby of the hotel just outside the Conservatory you’ll find Beau Nash, one of the city’s premier spots for drinks and social time. Open from 3:00 – 11:00 pm, Beau Nash has an extensive wine list, including sparkling wines, cocktails and premium whiskey and bourbon. Try the lobster tempura tacos or for something more local, a Crescent burger made with beef from 44 Farms.
When you want to kick it up a notch or two, world renowned Nobu is the place to be. Be sure to book reservations in advance and be aware that the dress code is “elegant.” If you happen to be at the Crescent on a Tuesday evening, book the 17 course omakase tasting.
The Crescent Club, for members and guests only, is a one of a kind experience with an old world vibe. Located on the 17th floor of the Crescent complex office tower, Crescent Court (part of the Crescent Court development but not attached to the hotel), the private club offers a bar, full dining service and private dining salons for members and hotel guests.
The dining room has breathtaking views of the Dallas skyline day or night. Warm honey colored wood paneling, arched windows, and the gorgeous dark wood Crescent Club bar make this room a knockout. Even if you don’t go for dinner, go for a drink and the skyline views. The Crescent Club offers a variety of memberships that include access to the dining room, fitness, and spa facilities. You won’t need a membership if you’re a hotel guest.

Rooms and suites
All rooms and suites at the hotel were part of a recent $33,000,000 renovation. Pastel colors create a tranquil atmosphere. Abundant natural light from the floor to ceiling windows and custom accessories complete the sophisticated aesthetic. Rooms are generous, starting at about 380 square feet. All rooms have a sitting area and dedicated workdesk. The overall ambiance is chic but comfortable.
I especially liked the modern and elegant white vanities with brass trim in the bathrooms, stand alone soaking tubs in the suites, and Molton Brown bath products. All rooms have a Nespresso coffeemaker, individual digital thermostat, daily housekeeping, mini-bar, and a safe large enough for your laptop. Every amenity and design detail is purposefully thought out. In fact, you might not want to leave your stylish haven but you really should because the spa and heated rooftop pool are worth it.
