Accommodations at Hotel Avante
Hotel Avante has 91 rooms split between neighborhood views and pool views. My pool-view king room had plenty of room to spread out my luggage, enjoy a book in the corner chair, and get some work done at the desk. I especially appreciated the mini fridge and microwave that come standard in all rooms. The room’s warm earth tones and the rainfall shower helped me relax after a busy day of exploring.
If you want a bit more space, the hotel offers a studio suite that includes a king-size bed and a pull-out couch. Families will find this configuration helpful, especially with varied bedtimes. A larger-sized bathroom offers both a shower and a bathtub, where you can enjoy the Jonathan Adler bath products that come standard.

My favorite spot at Hotel Avante is the sleek pool area with a jacuzzi, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or take a dip on a hot day. I spent the afternoon there getting caught up on emails before heading out to nearby downtown Mountain View for a meal. Even though the property is located on busy El Camino, I found the traffic noise to be minimal while lounging in the sun.
Guests looking to keep up with their workout routine while traveling can pop down to the fitness room, just off the lobby. Here you’ll find a selection of equipment from treadmills and weights to a Peloton bike so you can keep up with your streak.
Final Thoughts
Hotel Avante is located in Mountain View, a convenient location for those doing business at the Apple campus or catching a game at Levi’s Stadium. San Jose Mineta International Airport is your closest airport at just 12 miles away, while San Francisco Airport is 26 miles and Oakland 37 miles. Parking is free and plentiful.
