The top-floor guest lounge at Eleven Revelstoke Lodge
The town of Revelstoke, British Columbia, has one of Western Canada’s gnarliest ski mountains and one of its most beautiful national parks. Now, a recently revamped boutique hotel in the center of town has reopened as Eleven Revelstoke Lodge, a base for heli-skiing in winter and for other outdoor adventures in the warmer months.
Do you love the outdoors? Then read on for the scoop on this unique Revelstoke lodging:
Eleven Revelstoke Lodge
Eleven, a Colorado-based adventure travel company, renovated and upgraded a 1911 brick heritage building in downtown Revelstoke, which once housed a tobacco shop, a pool hall, and, more recently, a small hotel. Reopened as Eleven Revelstoke Lodge, this 12-room property is now the town’s most stylish place to stay.
Between December and March, Eleven Revelstoke Lodge operates exclusively as a heli-skiing base. Eleven has partnered with Kingfisher Heli-Skiing to organize heli-skiing trips for lodge guests.
From June through September, the hotel is open to regular travelers who come for hiking, paddling, or biking in the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains or who are road-tripping between Vancouver and Banff in the Canadian Rockies.

Guest Rooms and Amenities
As in many heritage properties, there’s a lot of variation in room sizes and configurations at Eleven Revelstoke Lodge.
The three premier guest rooms are two-level suites, measuring over 500 square feet, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
Other room options include two “deluxe kings,” which have a small sitting area adjacent to the king bed, the more compact king rooms, and the much smaller standard rooms, which range from 210 to 230 square feet.

Colorful quilts and artwork adorn the guest rooms.
Regardless of size, all units have brightly colored quilts and artwork, as well as mid-century modern furnishings, plus TVs, minibars, and en suite baths with washlet-style toilets.

Facilities and Services
One of the best features of Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is the airy third-floor guest lounge, with seating clustered around a fireplace and a second seating around with views over town and the mountains.
The lounge opens onto a spacious roof deck, which is a lovely spot for après-ski cocktails or summertime relaxation. The roof deck has both a sauna and an outdoor hot tub.
The hotel has a gear room on the main floor, where guests can store skis, bikes, and other adventure paraphernalia. On the lower level is a small spa as well as an almost-secret speakeasy lounge, dubbed The Boiler Room.

Quartermaster Eatery
On the lobby level, Quartermaster Eatery is open to the public for dinner and drinks and also serves breakfast to lodge guests. The evening menu starts with inventive snacks like hoisin-braised pig ears or creamy chicken liver mousse, before moving on to mains like Korean-style fried chicken or traditional steak frites.

Adventures in Every Season
Revelstoke is known for its outdoor adventures, whether you’re visiting in the snowy winter or the milder summer and fall.
When you’re not heli-skiing, you can ski or snowboard the 75 trails at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, only about a 10-minute drive from Eleven Revelstoke. In the warmer months, you’re about the same distance to the start of the scenic 16-mile Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mount Revelstoke National Park, which climbs into the mountains for great views and a network of hiking trails.
It’s a short walk to the riverfront with more walking trails and to most of Revelstoke‘s shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the summer, there’s free live music nightly in the plaza around the corner from the hotel.
And in any season, when you return from your adventures, a soak in the rooftop hot tub will get you ready for your next day in the mountains.
Rates
In summer, standard double room rates at Eleven Revelstoke Lodge start at US$173 per night. During the winter season, all-inclusive heli-skiing packages including accommodations, meals, and guided heli-ski adventures start at US$11,436 USD for 1-3 guests.
