A bunch of great hotels here, each one a gem. But I would also include La Tranquila, another golf resort and luxury hotel just down the road from Case de Mita.

As far as I am concerned this is the beat place to stay on the beach. Staff is awesome very clean and just beautiful. Feels like home where your staying here. Also dont for get about “coco” the resident parrot. Always an awesome time here. Been going there since 2013 and can never get back fast enough.

Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort & Spa is really nice, although the beach is rocky and you can’t go in the water in starting in May and summer because of the small stinging jelly fish. We paid $14,000 up front to be a “Member”, and once we were ready to make a reservation, the price was $748 HIGHER than a non-member! Just call their reservation number and get both prices (Member vs. Non-member) and you will find out you have been had! sucks, they shot themselves in the foot, we are never going back there.

Erika, I was so surprised by Pigeon Forge. Margaritaville Island Hotel is central to so many places. I wan’t sure what to expect myself but I had such a great time. I hope it meets your expectations. I hope you enjoy yourself and have that vacation you and your family so deserve.

Happy to see this and read. I am going for a mini vacation along with my husband and 7 year old little boy. He is autistic… highly functional..
I was so surprised when my husband booked our stay for this place. And after looking .. all i can say is wow.. i really do hope it lives up to the hype that is written. But now I can rest assured due to your review of the place.
Our first choice was Great Wolf Lodge but unfortunately they had no rooms and were booked. There is always next time.
Honestly after seeing how its laid out and all the places and things to do here.. Im not at all disappointed we didn’t get to stay at Great Wolf Lodge.
We are going next week, September 8th – 12th. Odd days I know but my husband barely gets one day off a week, so I am grateful he got time off. There are only 2 other people in the whole plant that do his job. And if you have ever heard of James Hardie then you know that is very high demand. He is always having to go in even when he just got off. And works anywhere from 12 hour shifts to 14 15 hour .
I have not been to Pigeon Forge Gatlinburg or the area since 2008.. so I’m sure I will be overwhelmed with what things we are going to do and where we will go.. its always been a fight to ever leave and if i could id move to the area. Im from West Virginia and love the mountains.. but live in Virginia now.. and I will say… I’m not a fan even being here since 2013..
