The flexible new Courtyard lobby and gathering space

What would you do with two free nights in a Courtyard Marriott hotel? Take your sweetie away for the weekend? Go on a road trip? Make that sales call for your business in person instead of on the phone? See the relatives without seeing too much of them?
The fine folks at Marriott want one of our lucky Hotel-Scoop readers to experience their new renovated lobbies, which are rolling out across the whole chain.
So far, 500 of their locations have been converted to the new lobby environment, which offers you an open and flexible space to “eat, drink and connect.” The key components are free Wi-Fi, a variety of seating zones, and media pods with the GoBoard. That big screen is meant to be more than a concierge could ever be, serving up real-time content including news, local weather, travel details and local area mapping. It’ll give you driving directions, walking directions, info on local attractions, or show times. (Sorry, it won’t shine your shoes.) 
So here’s how to enter. First go check out the Courtyard new lobby look. Then click on this page to see where all the newly renovated lobbies are located. In the comments below, tell us which renovated Courtyard by Marriott you would use your two free nights at and why. (Don’t worry, you can use the two-night gift card at any of them if you’re the winner.)
The contest runs through noon on Sunday, May 20. That evening we’ll choose a winner using Random.org and will notify you by e-mail. If there’s no response within 72 hours, we’ll pick an alternate. Open to U.S. residents only of 18 years or older, except where prohibited by law. No employees or contractors of Al Centro Media may enter. Winner’s name will be posted within one week of contest closing on this post.

Dear Marriott,
I could think of a number of U.S. locations where I would love to stay in a Courtyard Marriott with a newly renovated lobby. Here are a few and the reasons why:
1. NYC Soho – so I could gather my family together for a reunion in the city,
where my parents live in a studio apartment
2. St. Louis – where I could visit my sister and family for the first time in years
3. Chicago – because I think it would be a great city to take my three teenagers to visit
4. Ann Arbor MI – the place has always intrigued me and it would make a good spot to stay for two nights on a Michigan road trip
5. West Virginia – because I understand that WVA has some remarkable bike trails and I’d like to explore them (but have a nice place to return to at night)
6. Dayton OH – as my husband travels there for work almost weekly and I would give him the gift of an upgrade to a nicer hotel than the one in which he normally spends the nights
7. Charleston SC – the city is on my list of top places to visit and being right in the historic district would be grand
I could go on…I think I could make good use of any Courtyard Marriott – and my husband, who likes to be connected at all times to the internet, would very much appreciate the amenities of the new lobbies.

Courtyard LA Will be visiting LA in the fall, it’s perfectly located!
I would like to win at a Courtyard Marriott in Rhode Island so I can take my mom there for her 80th birthday.
I would visit the Marriott Courtyard in Tampa and enjoy the nearby beaches. Courtyard gets it. They truly understand us business travelers. Nice job on the new lobby design!
I would love to visit the renovated Courtyard lobby in Key Largo. Always nice to go to that part of the world.
Courtyard Port of Spain will do just fine – no one in my family has ever been there – would be such a treat to be sunning ourselves in Trinidad eating shark bake on the beach!
The Courtyard at San Francisco’s Fishermen’s Wharf would be wonderful. For my Birthday I would like to be with all three of my Granddaughters in San Francisco to celebrate. Because the lobby and surrounding areas would be such a great treat for my girls (Ages 14,10,7), a stay there would be something that the girls could remember always as sharing with Grandma.
Count me in for the Courtyard in downtown Seattle — I’m flying there for a business trip at the end of the month and would love to stay downtown and be able to walk to my meeting without having to rent a car!
I would choose the Ann Arbor, Michigan location because it is nearby and would make a perfect date weekend with my husband; Ann Arbor is such a lovely city, perfect for a quick summer getaway.
I’d choose the Courtyard Palm Springs location because it’d make for an amazing staycation in my backyard!
Well…I love to travel so really would be interested in staying at any of them, but if I had to choose just one it would be the Courtyard Ann Arbor so I could visit my son
Courtyard Nashville at Opryland. I want to visit music city.
I would love to stay at one of the New Orleans locations with my hubby!
A quick road trip with my wife and 9 year old child this summer.
I would love to visit the Courtyard Denver Downtown location! It looks just lovely!
My choice would be Pensacola, FL….. Sea, Sand, Sunshine & Free Wi-Fi is all I really need to be happy
If I was to choose a Courtyard I’d choose NYC or Fisherman’s Warf in San Francisco. I just relocated from the East Coast and have settled in the East Bay. How wonderful would it be to spend two nights in the city when a friend comes to town? We’d be in the heart of the city and in a perfect location to explore. If I didn’t stay in San Francisco, I’d be booking flights to NYC to see all of the friends I left behind…
I want to stay at the SoHo Manhattan location in NY. Looks gorgeous!
I would choose either Courtyard Washington, DC/Dupont Circle or Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol. We are actually planning a trip to DC for this summer.
I would love to stay at the Courtyard in New Orleans near the French Quarter! I’ve been kind of obsessed with NOLA lately and want to visit soon.
